Amar Ojha
Neuroscience Graduate Student, University of Pittsburgh
Amar grew up in Rocky Hill, CT and graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Philosophy in May 2017. During his time as an undergrad, Amar worked at the Mandell Center for Multiple Sclerosis and the Georgetown Laboratory for Relational Cognition. As a Research Coordinator and member of Scan Team, Amar helped run structural and functional brain scans for adults, teens, children, and babies, and helped coordinate a new adolescent study that examines brain structure, function, and metabolites in teens with depression. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh.
