Lauren Borchers
Dr. Borchers is an affective neuroscientist studying resilience following adversity. She earned her PhD at Stanford University in 2022 studying trajectories of reward processing in adolescents following exposure to early life stress. Prior to becoming a New Map of Life Impact Fellow, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical School working to innovate the identification and treatment of major depressive disorder. Dr. Borchers studies the neural correlates of psychopathology across development, focusing on how to promote resilience.
